Fushuan Wen (IEEE Fellow) Zhejiang University, China Profile:Professor Fushuan Wen received the BE and ME degrees from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1985 and 1988, respectively, and the PhD degree from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 1991, all in electrical engineering. He joined the faculty of Zhejiang University in 1991, and has been a full professor and the director of the Institute of Power Economics and Information since 1997, and the director of Zhejiang University-Insigma Joint Research Center for Smart Grids since 2010. He has published 200+ SCI-indexed papers, 650+ EI-indexed papers, and 740+ Scopus-indexed papers. His publications have been cited for 16000+ times. He has completed and is undertaking more than 180 grants and projects from governmental organizations and industry. Prof Wen received many awards both at the national level and provincial level, including the most prestigious National Natural Science Award of China. He has been listed in "Most Cited Chinese Researchers" in seven consecutive years since 2015 by Elsevier, and is the author of one of the China's 100 Most Influential Domestic Academic Papers in 2016. Prof Wen is the editor-in-chief of Energy Conversion and Economics (SPERI, IET, Wiley), the deputy editor-in-chief of Journal of Automation of Electric Power Systems, a subject editor in power system economics of IET Generation, Transmission and Distribution, associate editor of Journal of Energy Engineering and Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy. He is also on the editorial boards of more than 10 journals. Wensheng Yan Hangzhou Dianzi University, China Profile: Having acquired his Ph.D. in Engineering from the Department of Physics, specializing in Microelectronics, at Nanjing University in 2008 (under the guidance of Academician Rong Zhang), Wensheng Yan embarked on a 12-year scientific research journey spanning Singapore, Australia, and Germany, where he honed his expertise in leading and managing international teams. In 2021, he joined Hangzhou Dianzi University’s College of Electronic Information as a full-time faculty member and founded the university-level Carbon Neutrality and New Energy Research Institute, currently serving as its Dean. Yan boasts an impressive array of accolades, including the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award of Nanjing University, Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award ofJiangsu Province, National Nomination for Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation, ARENA Scholar from Australia’s Department of Sustainable Energy (sole recipient in silicon solar cell research globally that year), Senior Humboldt Fellow in Germany (likewise, sole recipient in silicon solar cell research), Principal Scientist of the German Research Foundation, and Leader of a Provincial Leading Innovative and Entrepreneurial Team. He serves as an invited evaluator for numerous international projects in Germany, Germany-Russia collaborations, and the European Union, reviews for over 30 international academic journals, and holds the position of Lecture Professor at Xiamen University (2022-2025). Additionally, Yan is the Deputy Director of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the China Democratic League’s Specialized Committee and the Academic Director of the Yangtze River Delta Photovoltaic and New Energy Technology International Science and Technology Cooperation Base in Zhejiang Province. As a convener or core participant, he has organized numerous international conferences and symposia. His research expertise encompasses photovoltaic cells (crystalline silicon, perovskite, and high-efficiency tandem cells), energy storage batteries, PV-storage integration, intelligent photovoltaic power grid systems, microelectronics and integrated circuits, AI-driven manufacturing, and algorithms. |
